When OBSR were looking to create their own industry web portal to enable IFAs to search through their rated funds, they were keen to team up with a partner who had the industry knowledge, the technical capabilities and the design skills to deliver the project quickly and efficiently.

This was a good test for our new web content management system, InterAct™ (watch this space for more on InterAct – coming soon!). We rolled our sleeves up and worked alongside the team at OBSR to plan a system that would make IFAs’ lives easier. We created a wish list of functionality to ensure the fund search gave IFAs what they wanted and set about the design and development following our disciplined methodologies.

OBSR are delighted with the results, they have truly broken new ground with the categorisation of rated OEIC, Unit Trusts and Multi-Manager funds. Our new system includes:

• A powerful search tool with a rich interface allowing users to search on many different categories
• Charting tools
• Favourite funds
• Fund factsheets
• Fund related news

This website makes the industry’s only independent research in this area available to IFAs free of charge. It has already been extremely well received and the number of new registrations and site visitors is increasing exponentially.
