A social networking education

We've recently re-launched www.rollonfriday.com - the social networking site for city lawyers and a major hub for news, views and gossip on the legal profession.

This site encourages registered users to set up a personal profile page where they can write blogs, make 'friends' with other users, store multiple CVs and anonymously apply for jobs or be found by headhunters.

The most popular page is the legendary main discussion board where anything goes… !! The site also includes more specific job and training discussion boards. Users can sign up to email alerts as well as subscribe to RSS feeds to keep up to date with anything they need to know.

This is our most functionally rich website to date. In addition to the personal profiling area and discussion boards, we have polls and surveys, a currency converter, the world clock, a language translator, a going out guide combined with facilities to find a new flat or flatmate! Behind the scenes there is a sophisticated banner manager.

The website is fully built on our YellowTail CMS which means Roll On Friday manages the content entirely themselves without the need for any html knowledge.

There are over 90,000 registered users of the website and on his its first day 1 there were in excess of 1,500 postings to the discussion board!
